Feeding your Skin
It has been a while between Journal posts !
This has been one I have wanted to write for a little while now too as it is about an amazing apothecary range of skincare we carry in our online store - and it is super affordable and effective.
At Of Object Home we like to take a holistic approach to interiors and how we live our lives in them.
Offering both interior decorating and property styling services along with colour consulting for homes we also have an online store to showcase wonderful product sourced both internationally and locally.
Product which we believe not only makes your home look and work better to improve your everyday wellbeing but also items which can become part of your everyday routine to make you feel good too.
Your home should be a place where you can practice daily routines to improve both your physical and mental wellbeing.
One of these things is Skincare.
I am no huge player in the world of beauty products by any means and if anything I tend to be quite lazy with a routine for my skin. It is hard to find the time !
So keeping it simple, I just love my skin to feel well moisturised and glowing.
So when I came across the Wellington Apothecary range I was immediately hooked.
Not only are they all handmade by Herbalists out of their dispensary in Wellington NZ, they contain high quality natural and organic ingredients which truly nourish and repair the skin and are wonderfully simple to use.
One particular product I love and use daily is the Cacao Cardamon Balm.
It works for both your face and body and your skin will truly benefit from the nutrient packed ingredients.
A smooth silky textured balm, you don’t need much at all to apply and it simply absorbs beautifully into the skin.
Its wonder ingredient, Cacao butter, contains important minerals like iron, selenium, copper, zinc and manganese. As well as being rich in vitamin C and fatty acid omega 6.
All these boost and protect the skin.
The benefits of these raw ingredients for your skin are remarkable.
Cacao is not only an amazing ingredient in the food and drinks you can consume but it also can achieve amazing effects for your skin.
It is truly a superpower natural ingredient in skin care.
Packed with nutrients and antioxidants which help feed the skin.
If you suffer dry skin, cacao butter will help to restore your skin’s moisture balance keeping your skin hydrated for longer.
It also acts as a protection against free radicals. With its high level of flavanols it can effectively counteract the damage to skin caused by oxidation, helping to improve skin complexion.
This balm super moisturisers my skin without it feeling too greasy or too rich and heavy, it simply absorbs so well.
